Maryetta Patton Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Maryetta Patton of Coldwater, Michigan, who passed away on July 22, 2023 at the age of 104. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Ray Hyland and Grace Hyland (Parsons); her former husband James Geese Sr.; her children, Arlene Anderson (Verl) and John R. Geese; her son-in-law Robert Thomas; her grandson Scott Thomas; her great grandchild Ian Geese; her great great grandchild Mackenzie Geese; and her sisters, Marjorie Fulk and Mona (Earl Pinney).
She is survived by: her husband William P. Patton; her children, Cora Foupht (Charles) of Coldwater, MI, Mary Lou Hamilton of Hilliard, OH and James M. Geese Jr. of Ft. Wayne, IN; and her stepchildren, Betty Witzenman (Ed) of Churubusco, IN, Peggy Wetzel (Robert) of Churubusco, IN and William Patton of Thousand Oaks, CA. She is also survived by her 12 grandchildren, 24 great grandchildren, and many great-great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Gideons International or to the First Baptist Church in Coldwater.
