With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Marvin Merkle (Coldwater, Michigan), born in Van Wert, Ohio, who passed away on September 3, 2019 at the age of 74. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his siblings, Ralph Merkle, Donald Merkle and Louise Bremer; and his sisters-in-law, Sue and Wanda Merkle.
He is survived by: his wife Susan Merkle of Coldwater; his children, Margaret Dyer (J. W.) of Williams, AZ, Tiffany Fillmore (Rick) of Quincy and Thomas Merkle of Allen; his siblings, Kenneth Merkle (Marilyn) of Van Wert, OH, Robert Merkle (Gloria) of Seattle, WA, Ruby Merkle of Coldwater, Gilbert Merkle of Seguin, TX, Richard "Dick" Merkle (Lois) of Union City and Raymond Merkle (Yong) of Renton, WA; his brother-in-law Emery Bremer of Rochester, MN; and his grandchildren, Julia Dyer, Brody Fillmore, Cady Fillmore, Kody Fillmore and Lucas Merkle. He is also survived by many nieces & nephews.
Memorials may be made to the family to set up a Scholarship Fund in his honor.
