It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mari Susan AbbottDeMeritt of Coldwater, Michigan, who passed away on March 23, 2024, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Glenwood Abbott and Ethel Abbott (Rumsey); her husband Jerry Demeritt; her son Lance Demeritt; and her sister Sherry Stephens.
She is survived by: her adoptive son Donnie Hills of Hesperia, MI; her siblings, Gary Abbott (Lori) of Quincy, Jesse Abbott (Cindy) of Loveland, OH and Cody Abbott (Tim) of Chicago, IL; and her grandchild Keilee Jo Demeritt. She is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
Memorial donations are suggested to the Branch County Humane Society.
