He was predeceased by: his wife Marsha Ash (Swan); his daughter Chelsie Ash; and his stepgranddaughter Marissa Barry. He is survived by: his parents, Leon Ash and Georgia Ash of Girard; his son Cody; his daughter-in-law Ashley Ash of Tekonsha; his grandchildren, Sonora Barrington of Tekonsha, Jax Barrington of Marshall and River Ash of Tekonsha; his siblings, Leon "Pete" of Girard, Monica Ash of Girard, Tammie of Girard, Ken Vaughn of Girard, Randy of Girard and Shelly Ash of Girard; his stepdaughters, Lisa Persails and Staci Persails of Coldwater; his stepgrandchildren, Grace, John Paul Thimlar and Emma Sexton; and his great grandchild Marcella Hall of Coldwater. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews and great-nieces and great-nephews, whom he loved as his own children.
Memorial donations are suggested to the family in care of Cody Ash.
