She was predeceased by: her parents, James Baker and Ivah Baker (Otis); her husband Paul Monks; her siblings, Charlotte Baker, Florence Frazier (Jim), Melvina Shaw (Lee), Betty Kerstetter and Chuck Baker; and her brother-in-law Reggie Brzozowy.
She is survived by: her friends, Sharon Otis, Joanna Boyer and Rita McLatcher; her children, Paula Hout of Coldwater, Paul Monks, Jr. (Shelly) of Coldwater and Pamela Alvesteffer of Fremont, MI; her siblings, Harry Baker of Union City and Shirley Brzozowy of Wyandotte; her siblings-in-law, Jack Kerstetter of Garden City and Jane Baker of Fort Myers, FL; her grandchildren, Jennifer Maynard of Paul Monks, III, Samuel Monks, Linzy Monks, Ivah Alvesteffer and Logan Alvesteffer; and also Tony Alvesteffer. She is also survived by nine great grandchildren; many nieces & nephews.
