He was predeceased by: his parents, Stanley Parker and Shirley Parker (Major); his sister Sandy Sherrick; and his close friends, Shirley Bell and Karon Burdette.

He is survived by: his wife Brenda Lee Brockway; his children, Jeremy (Heather), Stephanie and Lindsey (Mike Null); his grandchildren, Ada, Brendan, Emmy, Lillian, Maddy, Kimberlynn (Harper) and Paw; his sisters, Judy Sipes (Reg) of Beech Grove, IN and Tonya Angers (Lee) of Odgen, UT; his sister-in-law Cindy Brockway; and his close friend Scott Stevens (Amy). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Memorial donations are suggested to the family to assist with final expenses.
