It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John D. Morrell of Coldwater, Michigan, born in Muskegon, Michigan, who passed away on June 19, 2024, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his sister Jane Breen. He is survived by : his wife Nancy Sage; his children, Ann Brois (Russell Guercio) of Coldwater, John Morrell, Jr. (April) of Coldwater and Mary Gray (Ryan) of Coldwater; his grandchildren, Jadon, Loren Brois, Garrett, Brennan Morrell, Samuel and Abel Gray; and his siblings, DeLore Morrell (Sally) of Muskegon and Joan Houchins of Muskegon.

Visitation was held on Friday, June 21st 2024 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Dutcher Funeral Home (440 W Chicago St, Coldwater, MI 49036). A funeral service was held on Saturday, June 22nd 2024 at 10:00 AM at the First Baptist Church - Coldwater (102 Bishop Ave, Coldwater, MI 49036).

Memorials may be directed to the Quincy American Legion.
