With profound sadness, we say goodbye to John C. Maxson of Coldwater, Michigan, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. As we bid John farewell, let us not mourn the absence of his physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of his spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For John is not truly gone, but merely transformed, his energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
He was predeceased by: his wife Gloria Irwin; and his brother Thomas Maxson. He is survived by: his children, Terina Rickman (Roger) of Coldwater, Timothy Maxson (Rosemary) of Coldwater and Rebeca Wells (Darrell) of Quincy; his brother Ray Mason, Jr. (Jackie) of Equality, IL; and his grandchildren, Mitchel Rickman (Photini), Grant Rickman, Jessica Slaybaugh (David) and John Maxson (Brooke).
A celebration of life was held on Monday, December 16th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Coldwater Moose Lodge (117 E Chicago Rd, Coldwater, MI 49036).
