James R. Thayer Obituary

He was predeceased by: his parents, Russell Thayer and Eunice Rhea Thayer (Bronson); his sister Shirley Edwards; and his sister-in-law Frances Thayer. He is survived by: his wife Sarah L. Pryce; his children, Tad Thayer (Sabrina) of Pittsburgh, PA, Joy Tiernon (Tom) of Ft. Wayne, IN, Jill Ware (Todd) of Coldwater and Dawn Rowe (Marty) of Coldwater; his brothers, Tom Thayer of Lambertville, MI and Rusty Thayer (Lori) of Troy, MI; his brother-in-law Sam Pryce (Reggie) of Elmore, OH; his grandchildren, Andy Carpenter (Tawni), Karly Carpenter (Cory), Durdana Carpenter, Ava Thayer, Mikayla Caudill and Kyle Caudill; and his great grandchildren, Alivia, Claire, Dean, Elaina, Jeremiah and Damian.

Visitation was held on Thursday, December 12th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Dutcher Funeral Home (440 W Chicago St, Coldwater, MI 49036). A funeral service was held on Friday, December 13th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
