Hilda Mae Smith Obituary

We are sad to announce that on November 16, 2024, at the age of 91, Hilda Mae Smith of Coldwater, Michigan, born in Reading, Michigan passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her husband Edgar "Ed" Smith; her brother Harold Dean Tift; her grandson Christopher "CJ" Peterson; and her sister-in-law Joyce Tift. She is survived by: her daughter Patti Champion (Brian Hickok); her granddaughters, Tammy Hulbert and Brandee Pabian (Jeff); her great grandchild Cody Peterson (Amanda); her great great grandchildren, Mason Glowe and Ryleigh Peterson; her siblings, Don Tift (Emma Jean), Francis Michael (Larry) and Mary Ellen Sautter; and her close friends, Robert Champion of Coldwater, Bob Cox of Lake Waldena, FL. and Gloria Palmer of Lake Waldena, FL..

Visitation will be held on Saturday, November 23rd 2024 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Quincy Chapel (111 E Chicago St, Quincy, MI 49082). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, November 23rd 2024 at 1:00 PM at the same location.

Memorial contributions are suggested to Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, in honor of her late grandson, CJ Peterson.
