She was predeceased by: her husband Edgar "Ed" Smith; her brother Harold Dean Tift; her grandson Christopher "CJ" Peterson; and her sister-in-law Joyce Tift. She is survived by: her daughter Patti Champion (Brian Hickok); her granddaughters, Tammy Hulbert and Brandee Pabian (Jeff); her great grandchild Cody Peterson (Amanda); her great great grandchildren, Mason Glowe and Ryleigh Peterson; her siblings, Don Tift (Emma Jean), Francis Michael (Larry) and Mary Ellen Sautter; and her close friends, Robert Champion of Coldwater, Bob Cox of Lake Waldena, FL. and Gloria Palmer of Lake Waldena, FL..
