He was predeceased by: his parents, John Sechler and Lucille Wilbur (Craun); his sister Sandra Swift; and his grandson Layne Hall. He is survived by: his wife Sarah Sechler (Myers); his children, Dan Sechler (Danielle Cook) and Jessica Hall (Mark); his sister Tina Wilhelm (Chris); and his grandchildren, Dilan Sechler and Brooklynn Hall.

Memorial donations are suggested to the family, in care of Sarah Sechler, for the grandchildren.
