Gonsala Cardenas Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gonsala Cardenas of Coldwater, Michigan, born in New Braunfels, Texas, who passed away on September 22, 2021, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Jose Galnares and Maria Galnares (Garcia); her spouse Reymundo Cardenas (Ray); her daughter Christina; her siblings, Flavia, Bentura, Jose, Jr., Alejandro and Abraham; and her close friend Barbara Harvey.

She is survived by: her daughters, Virginia Watkins (John) of Coldwater and Valentina Baker (Michael) of Castle Rock, CO; her grandchildren, Anna Holroyd (Terry) of Coldwater, Alexander Watkins (Rachel) of Canton, Teresa Baker (Clay Gysin) of Manitou Springs, CO and Jessica Leininger (Joshua) of Westminster, CO.; her great grandchildren, Natalie, Olivia Holroyd, Owen, Evelyn Watkins, Kylah, Kinsley and Kaedyn Leininger; her siblings, Maria Berridge (Wayne) of Adrian, Simona RozoBueno (Eduardo) of Adrian and John Galnares (Artis) of Traverse City; and her sister-in-law Rita Perez of Adrian. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
