She was predeceased by: her parents, Grant Walker and Caryl Walker (Tift); her grandparents, Perry and Nellie Tift; and her husband Garry Nelson.
She is survived by: her former husband Kenneth Fickle; her children, Corinne Haehl (Jim) of Quincy, Ken Fickle (Cindy) of Quincy and Kandy Fickle (Jake Modert) of Coldwater; her stepchildren, Kathy Camerer and Roger Nelson (Roxanne); and her grandchildren, Ken Fickle (April), Justin Fickle (Stephanie), Jamie Monahan (Pete), Josh Nickerson (Diane Fowler) and Andrea Cussigh (Travis Slone). She is also survived by 12 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to the Humane Society of Branch County.
