It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gerald Brauer (Coldwater, Michigan), born in Muskegon, Michigan, who passed away on December 27, 2019, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Oscar Brauer and Hildegarde Brauer (Miller); his former wife Helen; his grandson T. J. Hansman; and his siblings, Renee Rubley (Dale) and Richard Brauer.
He is survived by: his wife Linda Lou Macklin (Letts); his children, Debbie Hansman of Coldwater, Tom Hansman of Colon and Jodie Johnson (Jeff) of Coldwater; his grandchildren, Bo Connell (Suzie) of Union City, Joey Connell (Felicity) of Coldwater, Hope Cartier (J. T.) of Centerville, Jessica Hansman of Sturgis, Ryan Johnson of Coldwater, Logan Johnson (Megan) of Benton Harbor and Lucas Johnson of Coldwater; and his great grandchildren, Hudsen, Westin, Jazlynn, Kadence, Brayden, Carter, Braylen, Emma, Maverick and Jaysic. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
