He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernest Saxton and Beulah Saxton; and his siblings, Barbara Kreps, Peggy Griffin Lefevre, John Saxton, Ernest Saxton Jr. and Leo Saxton.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Jane Kinney; his sons, Chad and Michella Saxton of Reed City; his grandchildren, Krystal (Tony), Peterson (Hart), Brayden Saxton (Reed City), Matt and Heidi Saxton of Battle Creek; his great grandchildren, Logan (Battle Creek), Landon of Indianapolis, IN and Lauren Saxton (East Lansing); and his parents-in-law, Earl and Beulah Kinney. He is also survived by wife, children, and grandchildren, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations in Fred's memory to the Homer Area Community Foundation in the name of the Saxton Family Scholarship Fund, supporting the pursuit of education that was dear to his heart.
