He was predeceased by: his parents, Everett Every and Elsie Van Every Sr. (Mills); his stepfather John Tompkins (Wilma); his brother Jerry Van Every; and his children, Cherrie Van Every and Chad Van Every.
He is survived by: his children, Tracie Johnson (John), Brad Van Every (Crystal), Everett Van Every III (Brittany) and Derek Van Every (Nicole); his foster son Charlie Shireman; his stepson Don Clearwater; his former wife Diana Clearwater; his stepsiblings, John, Elizabeth and George; his sister-in-law Betty Van Every; and his grandchildren, Shad, Tyler, Logan, Brittany, Cameron, Bralynne, Leslie and Lucas. He is also survived by 11 Great Grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 23rd 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Dutcher Funeral Home (440 W Chicago St, Coldwater, MI 49036). A funeral service was held on Friday, January 24th 2025 at 12:30 PM at the same location.
