She was predeceased by: her parents, Bert Morris and Helen Morris (Fisk); her husband Gene E. Merritt; her son Ralph; and her siblings, Evelyn Merkle, Bert and Richard Morris.
She is survived by: her daughter Trudy Harker (Bruce) of Sturgis; her sister Gladys Foulk (Robert) of Coldwater; her grandchildren, Christopher Cline, Carrie Funk (Paul) and Gene Cline; and her great grandchildren, Andrew Funk, Connor Funk and Ethan Funk. She is also survived by her loving nieces and nephews.
Memorial donations are suggested to the Northview Christian Church in Coldwater.
