She was predeceased by: her parents, Mirle James and Myrtle James (Connor); her son James W Brown-Nichols; her siblings, Violet Chatfield, Helen Thomas, Pete James and Leonard James; her son-in-law James Edward Rhoades; and her half-sister Judy Baldwin.
She is survived by: her husband Richard Nichols; her children, Skip Nichols (Deb), Spike Nichols and Della Cooper (Leonard); her grandchildren, Robin Shellenberger, Rhonda Scheidler, Rochelle Shepard (Mike), Kimberly David (Jeremy), Richie Nichols, Lee Nichols (Val), Scott Nichols (Michelle), Ashley Nichols, Michael Nichols, Matthew Brown and James Brown (Michelle); her great great grandchild Olivia Grace Shellenberger; and her pets, Gabbie, Molly and Sam. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
