He was predeceased by: his mother Merle Marteen Vaughn (Cable); his brother Dana Adkins; and his sister-in-law Dona Adkins. He is survived by: his wife Julie Marteen of Coldwater; his sons, Dunn Marteen, Jr. of Marietta, GA, Lance Marteen (Cheri) of Angola, IN, Brian Marteen (Lorri) of Coldwater and Bruce Marteen of Coldwater; his siblings, Don Adkins of Lakewood, CO and Kathryn Young of Tulsa, OH; and his grandchildren, Cameron, MaeAnna, Luke, Miranda and McKenna Marteen. He is also survived by many nieces & nephews; and several good friends.

Memorials may be directed to the Coldwater Parks & Recreation Department or the Coldwater Athletic Boosters.
