He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Perry Shelton and Mary Shelton (DeLong); his wife Rose Marie Roady; his daughter Sabrina Aughenbaugh of Coldwater; his brother Harold Whitman of Godfrey, IL; his grandchildren, Jeremy Aughenbaugh (Stephanie) of Coldwater and Brenton Aughenbaugh of Coldwater; his great grandchildren, Ellie, Maddy, Gwen and Max; and his son-in-law Robin Aughenbaugh. He was also cherished by several nieces and nephews.

Memorials may be directed to the Charity of One's Choice or ProMedica Coldwater Home Health and Hospice.
