It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Donald W. Pope of Coldwater, Michigan, born in Lafayette, Indiana, who passed away on October 3, 2023, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul Pope and Louise Pope (Scheidt); his siblings, Rosemary Forsythe, Marilyn Raymond and Paul Pope; and his sister-in-law Vicki Pope.

He is survived by: his wife Sallie A. Smullen; his children, Jody Donellan (Joseph) of Crofton, MD and Michael Pope of New York, NY; his brother David Pope (Vonda) of Coldwater; his grandsons, Eric Donellan (Jennifer) of Glen Burnie, MD and Adam Donellan of Glen Burnie, MD; and his great grandchild Aiden Donellan. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.

Memorials may be directed to the Burnside Senior Center.
