He was predeceased by: his father Elwood Sanderson, Jr.; and his stepfather Mark Penland. He is survived by: his mother Gail Sanderson, Jr. (Shoemaker) of Lagrange, IN; his wife Julie Smolen of Coldwater; and his children, Kyana (Dalton Russell) of Coldwater, Nakysha Smolen (Annistin Lieby) of Coldwater, Isabel Mendez (Keighan Denney) of Coldwater, Kalee Smolen of Coldwater and Karter Smolen of Coldwater. He is also survived by many extended family members and friends.
