It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Denise Gardner of Coldwater, Michigan, born in Battle Creek, Michigan, who passed away on February 3, 2021, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Smith and Bonnalyn Smith (Gray); and her brothers, Dennis Smith and David Smith. She is survived by: her husband Rick D. Gardner; her children, Danielle Gardner (Juan Fuentes) of Kalamazoo and Tyler Gardner (Britany) of Quincy; her siblings, Charlie Smith (Song Suk) of Battle Creek, Steve Smith (Jennifer) of Coldwater and Mark McRae (Kristie) of Quincy; and her grandchildren, Jenascia Conner, Armando Fuentes, Adriana Fuentes, Ailani Fuentes, Enrique Fuentes, Kaleb Handy and Avah Gardner.
