He was predeceased by: his parents, Roland Matevia and Margaret Matevia (Hodges); his son Jeremy Dennis Hoath; and his sister Suellyn Sekulich. He is survived by: his wife Shelley Matevia of Coldwater; his children, Jennifer Stempien (Chris) of Coldwater, Matthew "Matt" Matevia of Coldwater and Jonathan Hoath (Denise) of Coldwater; his brother Michael Matevia of Northville, MI; his grandchildren, Coby (Jennifer), Daniel, Zachary (Nikki), Lucas, Marisa Stempien, Jakob Matevia, Lilly Farrell, Megan, Rachel and Olivia Hoath; and his great grandchildren, Caidin, Nicklaus, Jackson, Mason and Carly.
