He was predeceased by: his wife Elizabeth "Rosemary"; and his son Dale A. Johnson Jr.. He is survived by: his daughter Brenda G. Faust (Larry) of Coldwater; his siblings-in-law, Goldie Kline of Kalamazoo and Joe Young (Pat) of Kimball; and also, Rosalyn Monhey of Kalamazoo, Bill McCoy (Dorothy) of California and Brian McCoy (Carol) of Sturgis.
