He was predeceased by: his wife Kathy Diesel; his grandson Joshua Wood; and his brother William Diesel (Mary). He is survived by: his children, Elizabeth McKinley (William) of Quincy, Jenny Bell (Andy Homan) of Schoolcraft and Alexander Diesel (Angela) of Grand Rapids; his grandchildren, Brian Wood, Aaron Wood (Jessica), Nathan Wood, Katlyn Wood, Rilla McKinley, Jacob Bell, Samuel Bell, Anthony Diesel, Hannah Diesel and Danyell Monge; and his great grandchild Everett Wood.
