He was predeceased by: his parents, Anton Kosachuk and Helen Kosachuk (Bettig); and his siblings, Anna Brauchler and Paul Kosachuk. He is survived by: his wife Marcey Kosachuk (Melrose); his children, Gabriel Kosachuk, Abigail Van Dyk (Stephen), Luke Kosachuk (Racheal), Ethan Kosachuk (Katherine), Andrew Kosachuk, Grace Kosachuk, Josiah Kosachuk, Obadiah Kosachuk and Isaac Kosachuk; his grandchildren, Josephine, Robert and David; his sisters, Helga Wolf, Mary Arnold (Steven) and Sandra Babbel (John); his uncles, Paul Bettig, Eric Bettig (Linda), Henry Bettig (Connie) and Peter Bettig (Carole); and his aunt Maria Schultz. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Covid nearly took his life in 2021 and he considered every day thereafter as borrowed time.
