She was predeceased by: her parents, Erling Lieng and Solbjorg Lieng (Enga); her brother Trygve Lieng; and her grandson Dakota Smith. She is survived by: her husband Gary L. Howe; her children, Daniel Speaker, Jr., Cindy Scharns (Al) of Battle Creek, Leslie Lamb of Springfield, Cheryl Kellogg (Mark) of DeWitt and Becky Smith (Larry) of Auburn, IN; and her brother Jon Tore Lieng (Ada) of Trondheim, Norway. She is also survived by 15 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren.
