Bennie D. Sherfield Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Bennie D. Sherfield of Coldwater, Michigan, who passed away on February 7, 2025, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Bennie may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the echoes of his kindness, the warmth of his embrace, and the light of his enduring love.
He was predeceased by: his wife Carol; his daughter Linda; his parents, Benjamin and Zell; and his brother Marvin.
He is survived by: his children, Donna Finley (Randy) of Quincy, Mark Sherfield (Tammi) of Gaylord, David Sherfield (Loretta) of Coldwater and Michael Sherfield (Kelli) of Fishers, IN. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild.
Visitation was held on Monday, February 10th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Coldwater Church of Christ (360 Grand St, Coldwater, MI 49036). A funeral service was held on Monday, February 10th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
Memorials may be directed to Camp Indogan Christian Youth Camp.
