It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Emilie Ida Hogg of Cohoctah, Michigan, who passed away on May 8, 2024, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Julius Popke and Helene Popke; her husband George; her children, Helen and George; her son-in-law Jake Garrido; and her brothers, Paul (Joy) and Carl.
She is survived by: her children, Elizabeth (BJ), John (Bill), Gordon, Emilie (Sue), Carl and Mary; her daughters-in-law, Phayne and Cheryline; her grandchildren, Angela, Hayley, James, Jordan, Tim, Steven, Stephanie, Bobby, George, Lance and Justin; and her sister-in-law Jean Popke. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to St. John's Lutheran Church in Fowlerville, MI, a cause close to Emilie's heart, or the Family Impact Center in Fowlerville, MI.
