He was predeceased by: his parents, Gunnard Pearson and Pearl Pearson; his daughters, Michelle and Heather; his mother-in-law Elizabeth Ainsworth; and his brother Gary Pearson.

He is survived by: his wife Penny Ellen Ainsworth; his son Bruce Pearson (Charlene); his grandchildren, Brittany and Allison Pearson; and his siblings, Bonnie Almond (Steve) and Paul Pearson (Nancy). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
