She was predeceased by: her parents, Herman Scheffler and Alice Scheffler; and her siblings, Phyllis Torrey, Marie Walker and Robert Scheffler.
She is survived by: her husband Robert K. Johnston; her daughters, Vicki Schiffelbine and Debbie Johnston; her grandchildren, Terri Hutton (Tom), Heather Stockdale (Jamie), David Tanton (Kristi) and Melissa Todd (Jason); and her sister Dorothy Lautner (Clarence). She is also survived by 10 great grandchildren; one great-great grandchild.
