He was predeceased by: his parents, Herbert Hein and Margaret Hein (Fleishman); and his sister Donna Troy. He is survived by: his wife Linda Grasser; his children, Kathie Smith of Kalamazoo, Karen Lueth (Karl) of Clyde and Stephen Hein (Vicki) of Goodells; his grandchildren, Mackenzie, Mitchell, Taylor and Kayla; his great grandchildren, Charly Mae and Milan; and his sister Gail Speelman.
