She was predeceased by: her father Gene Smith; and her brother Gene Smith Jr.. She is survived by: her mother Beverly Smith; her children, Evan Burris, Colin Burris and Kristin McLeod (Darryl); her grandchildren, E. J. Burris and Ethan Burris; her fiancé David Totten; and her siblings, Cheryl Lee (John), Mark Smith (Dana) and Dove Taylor (Dave). She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
