With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Paul J. Edie of Clio, Michigan, who passed away on December 18, 2024 at the age of 84. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Paul J. Edie to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his son Michael Edie; his parents, Reuben and Anna; his son-in-law Brian Ashmore; his parents-in-law, Dornis and Leona Chipps; and his brother-in-law William "Bill" Stoutenburg.
He is survived by: his wife Gloria Edie; his children, Jill Ashmore and Matthew Edie; his grandchildren, Kristal Shooltz (Quinn), Brendan Edie (Christine), Jessica Ashmore and Nicholas Ashmore; his great grandchildren, Addy Shooltz, Trevor Edie and Scarlet Shooltz; his siblings, Marilyn Stoutenburg, Bud Chipps (Gayle) and Penny Spencer (Ernie); and his pet Patches.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 2nd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Saints Charles and Helena Catholic Church (230 E Vienna St, Clio, MI 48420). A Mass will be held on Thursday, January 2nd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, those desiring may make memorial contributions to the Clio Fire Authority.
