He was predeceased by: his parents, John Monahan and Josephine Monahan (Maurice); and his siblings, Linda Blaszczuk and Jackie Monahan. He is survived by: his wife Susan Monahan; his children, Lorena Matthew-Monahan (Gbenga), Luke Monahan (Kristen), Lance Monahan (Connie), Larissa Monahan (Ernest), Lacara Weiss (Gabrial) and Lory Monahan (Norm); his grandchildren, Olivia, Betty, Maxine, Marlo, Roland, David, Scarlett, Josephine, Dami, Tobi, Funmi and Lorenso; his great grandchild Zeke; and his siblings, Faye McKimmy (Perry), Debbie Thomson, Mike Monahan, Jane Rekuc, Lisa Monahan and Chere'Monahan. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
