With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Mary C. Hetzel of Clio, Michigan, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Mary left this world on March 14, 2025 at the age of 82, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Alfred Piechowski and Susan Piechowski (Seidenwand); her husband Frederick Hetzel; and her siblings, Katherine Harcek, Susie Piechowski, Michael Piechowski, John Piechowski and Patricia Richardson.
She is survived by: her children, Christopher Hetzel, Cece Hetzel, Scott Hetzel and Carrie Johnson (Eric); her grandchildren, Travis Thomason, Cody Hetzel, Shawn Hetzel, Brianna Czarney, Brittany Johnson and Joshua Hetzel; her great grandchildren, Oliver, Ethan, Eviee, Nova, Freya, BrayLynn, Braxtyn and Sophia; her sister Carol Piechowski; and her sister-in-law Betty Smith (Bruce).
Visitation was held on Tuesday, March 18th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Wednesday, March 19th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A rosary was held on Tuesday, March 18th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the O'Guinn Family Funeral Homes - Clio Chapel (503 N Mill St, Clio, MI 48420). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Wednesday, March 19th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Mary's Catholic Church (11110 Saginaw St, Mt Morris, MI 48458).
