He was predeceased by : his grandfathers, Wayne Pifer (Pants) and Larry Leighton; his great-grandparents, Dayle Pifer, Rex LaBarr and Marjorie LaBarr; his aunt Linda Smalley; and his uncles, Kevin Pifer and Christopher Leighton.

He is survived by : his parents, Brandon Leighton and Shannon Leighton (Pifer); his siblings, Rylee Leighton (Andrew), Brooklynn Leighton, Braxton Leighton and Lilli Dolan; his significant other Emerson Starr; his grandmothers, Renee Pifer (Bucka) and Cindy Hawkins; his stepgrandparents, Ron Hawkins and Kim Leighton; his great-grandparent Kenneth Pifer; his cousin Landon; and also Everett. He is also survived by several Great-Aunts, Great-Uncles.

Visitation was held on Monday, June 24th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the New Covenant Church (13176 N Linden Rd, Clio, MI 48420). A funeral service was held on Monday, June 24th 2024 at 6:00 PM.
