He was predeceased by: his parents, Hubert Pifer and Alva Pifer (Rodal); his wife Adelyn D. Pifer; his sons, Wayne Pifer and Kevin Pifer; and his great grandchild Landon Leighton.
He is survived by: his children, Michael Pifer (Margaret), Renee Pifer, Vicki (Rick Wilson), G. Thomas Hart and Gordon Hart (Diane); his grandchildren, Shannon Leighton (Brandon), Joshua Pifer (Ariel), Heather West (Sonny), Lacey Hood, Rachel Connelly (Joshua), Michael Pifer and Matheu Hart; his great grandchildren, Rylee Leighton, Brooklynn Leighton, Braxton Leighton, Emma West, Quinn Hood, Jameson Hood, Fallon Connelly, Cohen Connelly, Jaxson Pifer and John Pifer; and his siblings, Doris Smith, Leon Pifer (Virginia), Betty McAfee and Virginia Anspaugh. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Sunday, January 26th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Monday, January 27th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Reigle Funeral Home (5501 Pierson Rd, Flushing, MI 48433, USA). A funeral service will be held on Monday, January 27th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
