With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Gloria Jeanette Alma of Clio, Michigan, born in Flint, Michigan, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 26, 2024 at the age of 82. Though Gloria Jeanette has departed this earthly realm, her legacy endures — a legacy of love that will continue to illuminate the lives of family and friends in the darkest of hours. May her spirit soar on wings of eternal peace, forever cherished in the tender embrace of memory.
She was predeceased by: her parents, William Gruno and Lillian Gruno (Mitchell); and her husband Gerald "Jerry" Alma. She is survived by: her children, Gerald Alma II, James Alma (Heather), Dawn Knox (Dan Trivilino), Donald Alma (Nancy) and Charlie Alma. She is also survived by 18 Grandchildren; 4 Great Grandchildren and one on the way; many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, November 6th 2024 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the O'Guinn Family Funeral Homes - Clio Chapel (503 N Mill St, Clio, MI 48420). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, November 6th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Wednesday, November 6th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Great Lakes National Cemetery.
