With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Donald Hans Isakson of Clio, Michigan, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on March 12, 2025 at the age of 61. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though his name may fade from the lips of time, the imprint Donald Hans leaves upon the hearts of his loved ones remains eternally vivid — a testament to the depth of his spirit and the richness of his legacy.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Donald Isakson and Marilyn Isakson (Fortine). He is survived by: his significant other Daniel Solis; his sisters, Mary Church (John) of Green Valley and Nancy Myers (Kevin) of Mikado, Michigan; and his nephews, Jason Bowsher (Susan) and Mal Graves (Gabe) of Minneapolis, Minnesota.. He is also survived by his family, friends.
Visitation will be held on Monday, March 24th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Swartz Funeral Home (1225 W Hill Rd, Flint, MI 48507). A memorial service will be held on Monday, March 24th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Genesee County Humane Society.
