With solemn reverence, we commemorate Carol M. Waner of Clio, Michigan, born in Cleveland, Ohio, whose life came to an end on June 26, 2024 at the age of 81, leaving behind cherished memories. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Joseph Masterson and Dorothy Masterson (Hitesman); her brothers, Vincent and Terrence; her parents-in-law, James and Marguerite Waner; and her sisters-in-law, Martha Emerson and Ann Hodgson.

She is survived by : her husband James "Jim" Waner; her children, Mark Waner (Kristina), Julianne Klein (Brad) and Laura Wilson (Jason); her grandchildren, Erin Henson, Betsy Waner, Tom Waner, Jamey Waner, Michael Klein, Maxwell Klein, Jacob Wilson and Megan Wilson; her brother David Masterson; and her sisters-in-law, Kathy Masterson, Ellie Carmody and Joy Masterson.

Visitation was held on Saturday, June 29th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Monday, July 1st 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the O'Guinn Family Funeral Homes - Clio Chapel (503 N Mill St, Clio, MI 48420). A prayer was held on Saturday, June 29th 2024 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A Mass was held on Monday, July 1st 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.

In lieu of flowers, those desiring may make memorial contributions to the St. Luke's N.E.W Life Center in Flint or the St. Francis Prayer Center in Flint.
