He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard Ashmore and Rosemary Ashmore (Schmidt). He is survived by: his wife Jill Ashmore; his children, Jessica Ashmore and Nicholas Ashmore; his siblings, Cherie Smith (Dennis), Susan Fuller (Mike) and Duane Mosher (Stacy); and his nieces and nephews, Adam Smith (Cierra), Melissa Smith, Kristal Schooltz and Brendan Edie.

Memorial contributions may be made to the family for his children's college education.
