It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mary Emma Graves of Clinton, Michigan, who passed away on April 17, 2025, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Cletus Shelby and Nina Betty Bridgewater (Harding); her daughter Darla Bean; and her siblings, Helen McDermott and Carl Lee Bridgewater.

She is survived by: her husband Phillip James Graves; her children, Vonda Graves of Brooklyn, MI, Maronda Cordts (Michael) of Goldsboro, NC, Phillip Graves (Denise) of Ann Arbor, MI and Cheryl Sanders (Gregg) of Willis, MI; her son-in-law Jonathan; her sister Anna Deneau of Adrian, MI; and her grandchildren, Justin, Andrew, Glen, Kurtis, Matthew, Laureen, Trevor, Brandon, Tyler and Trent. She is also survived by six great-grandchildren.

Visitation was held on Thursday, April 24th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Friday, April 25th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Handler Funeral Home-Tecumseh Chapel (313 W Pottawatamie St, Tecumseh, MI 49286). A funeral service will be held on Friday, April 25th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
