She was predeceased by: her parents, Stanley Zaydel and Isabelle H. Zaydel (Dupure); her spouse L. J. Smith; her daughter Linda Arlene Clark; her granddaughter Emily Smith; and her sister Joann Lange.
She is survived by: her children, Billy Joe Smith Jr. (Kathy) of Clinton, Karen Ann Smith of Clinton and Kimberley Jean Smith (Jim Nelson) of Clinton; her grandchildren, Trisha, Tania, Lindsey, Josh and Stephanie; her great grandchildren, Natasha, Taylor, Isabelle, Alexis, Aliyah, Tanner and Caitlin; and her great great grandchild Scarlett.
