He was predeceased by: his parents, Camille Verheye and Virginia Krider (Dale); and his close friend J. J.. He is survived by: his wife Cheryl; his children, Joseph Verheye (Chaun), Lori Kwiecinski and Nicole Verheye (Patrick Nowak); his grandchildren, Cara McGraw, Caleb Verheye, Robert Verheye (Dani Redden), Brooke Kwiecinski (James Nelson), Alec Kwiecinski, Vaughn Smith and Blake Nowak; his great grandchild Adeline McGraw; his stepgrandchildren, Winter Summers (Andrew) and Hunter Smith; his siblings, Robin Kelly (Shawn), Dale Krider (Shelley) and Dawn Krider (Jean); and his siblings-in-law, Diane Christian (Mark), Sue Chmura (Mike) and Bill Essary (Marie).
