He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernest Kemner and Helene Kemner (Mergenthaler); his son Eric Kemner; and his granddaughter Piper Gates. He is survived by: his wife Doris Ann Herman; his son Michael Kemner (Sarah) of Brighton; his daughter-in-law Marie Gates (Brandon) of DeWitt; his grandchildren, Lorelei Gates, Nathaniel Kemner, Grace Kemner, Owen Kemner, Colby Kemner, Mitchell Gates, Eva Kemner and Vivienne Gates; his brother Ray Kemner (Patsy) of Chelsea; and his siblings-in-law, Dennis Herman of Tecumseh, Doug Herman (Mary) of Napoleon and Mary Rossettie (Mick) of Ann Arbor. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
