She was predeceased by: her parents, Clayton Hayes and Delphine Hayes; and her sister-in-law Starr Richards. She is survived by: her husband Paul Richards; her brothers, Michael Hayes (Joann), Clayton Hayes (Lorraine) and Jeffery Hayes; and her siblings-in-law, William Richards (Sandra), Mark Richards, Robert Richards (Christina) and Laurie Dula (John). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews as well as other extended family.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in memory of Cynthia may be made to Breast Cancer Research Foundation and The Humane Society.
