With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Carl W. Szymanski (Clinton Township, Michigan), born in Mount Clemens, Michigan, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on December 5, 2024 at the age of 78. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Leo Szymanski and Josephine Szymanski. He is survived by: his wife Wanda Szymanski; his children, Heather Cranston (John), Heidi Verellen (Duane) and Jason Szymanski (late Jeremy Geneja); his grandchildren, Adrianne McPherson (Neil), Emily Hasan (Rush), Robyn Rehs (Andrew), Sarah Gehrke (Mitch), Haley Cranston, Joel Szymanski (Ashley), Megan Verellen and Kyle Verellen; his great grandchildren, Triston, Jassette, Ethan and Ari; and his brothers, Evans Szymanski (Martha) and Lee Szymanski (Sue). He is also survived by many nephews and nieces.
Viewing was held on Sunday, December 8th 2024 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Verheyden, Inc. (43300 Garfield Rd, Clinton Twp, MI 48038). A funeral service was held on Sunday, December 8th 2024 at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made in Carl's name to either the American Diabetes Association or the American Heart Association.
