She was predeceased by: her husband James J. Berta; her parents, Catherine Generose and Joseph J. Generose Sr.; and her siblings, Carmella Turse (Louis), Kathleen Lawrence (Robert), Joseph J. Jr. (Margaret) and William.
She is survived by: her children, James M. (Cindy), Thomas (Anna) and Sharon Cloud (David); her grandchildren, Nicole (Greg), James (Laura), Kristin (Alex), Michael, Bryan (Maja) and Brett; her great grandchildren, Alexis (Nick), Bailey, Connor, Aidan, Elizabeth, Gwen and Clara; and her great great grandchildren, Nicolae and Peyton. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Bagnasco & Calcaterra Funeral Home (25800 Harper, St Clair Shores, MI 48081). The lying in state was held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the St. Isaac Jogues Catholic Church (21100 Madison St, St Clair Shores, MI 48081). A funeral Mass was held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 at 12:30 PM at the Resurrection Cemetery (18201 Clinton River Rd, Clinton Twp, MI 48036).
